1. Why isn't your show suitable for under 16's?
There is an age restriction on these shows to keep the shows on a level. Jez Starr does not perform for children. Some demonstrations Jez performs are dangerous and he would hate for someone to try it themselves and injure/permanently harm themselves.
2. What is involved with audience participation?
These shows are based around audience participation, this means Jez will need volunteers throughout the show. Jez will select 'volunteers' first at all costs, at no point will he force anyone up on to the stage. If there are no volunteers he may pick spectators, but again, if the person(s) he selects does not want to come up on stage they will not be forced!
3. If I volunteer is there anything to be scared of?
The simple answer is no! At no point will Jez perform anything that will personally harm or injure any volunteers! Although Jez may perform demonstrations that may be hard to watch, at no point will anybody be harmed. Jez uses his skills to entertain and have fun, nothing more!
4. What does having my mind read involve?
Jez performs psychological mind-reading, he uses multiple techniques to read your thoughts. He cannot delve into your mind and read any thought, only the thoughts you are thinking of at the time! For example, he may ask you to think of someone you know, and whilst you are thinking of this person he will look at your body language and the micro-expressions of your face and try to work out the name you are thinking of.
5. Is Jez a psychic?
No! Jez is not psychic! Jez does not use any psychic abilities in his shows. Everything he performs is a natural human ability, nothing supernatural! Although he will recreate supernatural demonstrations.
6. Will I get hypnotised?
Although Jez is an extremely capable hypnotist, at this point no hypnosis is used. Jez may use similar techniques to create something similar to what we know as hypnosis, but no hypnosis is used! - This may change in the future. Notifications will be made.
